Destined To Fail

Did you know I’m naturally a bit of a hermit? I’ve never really liked a lot of a attention. I don’t particularly like to talk. Being a somewhat public figure is a weird thought to me. I’m a negative thinker by nature, worried about the worst that can happen. I’m not very creative.

It was as if I was destined to fail.

Yet somehow I make my living as someone who makes himself the center of attention. I tell you what I think. I make myself a public person. I take risks rather than hide. And my creativity is what helps pay the bills and built me a 35k+ subscriber list.

I have not changed myself, I’ve improved myself.

Your past failures are not an indication of your future. And the skills you lack are not an indication of the abilities you will possess. You are not changing who you are, but rather improving – evolving. Now step out and become the person you are capable of being.

  • Where do you want to be in life?
  • Are you willing to work to get there?
  • Decide what you need to do to obtain what you want
  • Do it
  • Make a mistake? Learn from it, re-evaluate, and keep pushing.

Are you ready to make the change?

@Catherine White – Thanks Catherine, it’s been a long struggle and will probably always be. But it is those struggles that strengthen us. This is why I try to reveal some of the lesser known parts of business and marketing that I think makes such a massive difference in peoples’ success.

I think if I could do it, anyone can. 🙂

@Stephanie – Just keep at it Stephanie. Even just being willing to put up a picture and leaving a comment is a productive action that can help push you towards greater things in the future.

It’s when we leave our comfort zone that we make new discoveries about ourselves and the world around us. Of course this doesn’t mean to be reckless, but rather be willing to take actions that you believe can help, even if you don’t necessarily feel comfortable with it.

Of course, when trying something new, keep the last bullet point in the blog post in your thoughts. 😉
